…the 5th November! This year Guy Fawkes Night falls on a Saturday so why not welcome in the winter season and enjoy a local organised display. Here are our top three picks for November 5th:
Beaconsfield Fireworks This year there is a new venue for the town’s annual spectacular. Beaconsfield Rugby Club promises to be a bigger, better and safer site and the organisers promise 25% more fireworks! It will be a much larger event with a whole range of catering options: hog roast, bbq, Chinese and Indian food – accompanied by hot chocolate or the obligatory mulled wine. Keen to keep everyone entertained pre and post the main event there will be rodeo bull riding, an outdoor cinema screen and kiddies rides. Entry is £6 in advance on line or from Ricki’s News, AJ Dunlop or Ashington Page or pay £8 on the gate (children under 5 are free). Gates open at 5pm with the action whizzing off at 7pm. Hosted at the Berkhamsted Cricket Club this display is within easy walking distance of the High Street. The 30-minute all weather professional display is put on by Classic Fireworks and is linked to music, lighting and lasers to create a fantastic show. There will be trinket stalls, children’s attractions, a bbq and bar to keep everyone happy. Gates open at 5pm with advance tickets costing £7 and £8 (under 5’s go free) on the night – available to purchase online or at Berkhamsted Saturday Market. Click here for more information
