With only five weeks until Christmas the shops are starting to sparkle and shine but for those who enjoy a different experience to the usual High Street stores then look no further than one of our many local Christmas markets.

16th and 17th Nov: Windsor Christmas Fair
Head to the Royal Windsor Racecourse to visit a host of stalls including a wide range of arts and crafts all set in floored heated marquees connected to the Grandstand with the racecourse as the backdrop. With a wide range of food and drink on offer you can enjoy browsing, sampling and buying from a mouth watering array of stallholders.

Famous for its unique market set in the grounds of Waddesdon Manor, the Christmas market has an exciting variety of high-quality, unique gifts, decorations, crafts and festive foods to delight and entertain. Browse over 80 stalls, which change weekly, soaking up the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas.

22nd Nov – 15th Dec: Christmas at Blenheim
Set against the magnificent backdrop of Blenheim Palace. Within wooden chalets, the market is filled with a variety of hand-picked gift ideas with ceramics, textiles, homewares, leather goods, jewellery, toys, stationery, bags, hats and so much more, it is the perfect place to begin your Christmas shopping.

21-24th Nov: Country Homes & Interiors Christmas at Stonor Park in Henley-on-ThamesChristmas market stalls in dark
At this gorgeous boutique-style shopping event, you’ll find creative and crafted festive gifts plus home, decorating and lifestyle products from favourite makers and brands. Located on the front lawns of Stonor Park Manor House, in beautifully styled marquees, you can browse more than 100 stands, and watch demonstrations from new and exciting country businesses and meet their inspirational owners.

28th Nov – 1 Dec: Christmas Fair at Ascot
Christmas tree on old door with brass knockerPick the perfect present from festive food, gorgeous gifts, fine furniture handy homewares, arresting art, tempting toys, jazzy jewellery, charming children’s collections, fabulous fashion and sensational stocking fillers. Fair goers can also delight in a variety of delicious food products from the food hall on the ground floor. Choose from 150 carefully-selected boutique companies selling festive gifts and products you won’t usually find on the high street to delight family and friends on Christmas Day.
