Best Commuting Towns are in Bucks

High Wycombe railway station has been voted in the top spot in for the best commuter station within an hour’s commute from London. Chiltern Relocation was delighted to see that Beaconsfield Beaconsfield train station stepsStation also featured in the Top 10 coming in 5th place and Aylesbury Station came in 8th place.

The study carried out by the website ‘On Time Trains’, included 30 major commuter Marylebone train station with train waitingstations outside the M25. It found that commuters from High Wycombe, a Chiltern Railways station, see reliable services to and from Marylebone station, with over 90 per cent of trains arriving within five minutes of the scheduled time and only one per cent of trains being cancelled.

Stations were ranked in four categories – performance, frequency, speed and value.

The success for Chiltern Railways comes after their recent accolade of being named best franchise rail operator and the highest-scoring London commuter service in the Which? 2019 passenger survey.
