Living in Chesham and the heart of the Chiltern countryside with a huge range of amenities on offer within the town. The local markets provide a community feel and give the town a real buzz.

Chesham is located in south-east Bucks and is the largest town in the Chiltern District. The town lies in a steep-sided valley 28 miles north-west of London. Chesham has excellent transport links as it is at the end of the Metropolitan Line and the mainline over ground trains into London run from Amersham station just ten minutes away.

The pedestrianised cobbled High Street is the location for the General Market held every Wednesday and Saturday, the monthly Street Market (every second Saturday) and Local Produce market (every fourth Saturday). The High Street offers many independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as many national retailers and coffee shops.

Chesham boasts a wide range of leisure facilities including a large leisure centre with two indoor pools, an open air swimming pool, the Elgiva Theatre and Cinema and the 36 acre Lowndes Park in the heart of the town. Lowndes Park provides a range of children’s play areas for all ages, a multi-sports court and a skateboard park. The park is also the site of many town events, including charity fun runs and the annual Schools of Chesham Carnival.

There are excellent schooling options within Chesham at primary and secondary level making the town very popular with families.
