Are you estate agents?

No. Estate agents work for and are paid by the vendor to achieve the highest price on their behalf. As home relocation agents, Chiltern Relocation act exclusively for buyers, always striving to find the best property and negotiate the lowest possible price on our clients' behalf. We save our clients both time and money.

Are you affiliated with any estate agents?

No, we are a completely independent relocation company. This means we can search through and recommend properties from hundreds of estate agents and independent vendors. We offer impartial advice and only represent your interests. This differentiates us from the so-called "buying departments" of large estate agencies. These inevitably have problems of conflicts of interest, being inclined to steer you towards a property on their sales books.

What does your service cost?

Chiltern Relocation's fees vary depending on the nature of the service we provide you. Please contact us for further information. Typically however, our fees will be less than the amount we save during negotiations over the purchase price of your chosen property - thereby saving you money.

What makes you so successful at finding houses?

Estate agents and private sellers know that we represent genuine 'hot' buyers. This means that we invariably receive advance notice of many properties for sale before they reach the open market and before they are even openly advertised! This means that our clients are in the enviable position of being able to snap up the best property before anyone else even gets to hear about it! Our day-to-day involvement in the Buckinghamshire property market, the Oxfordshire property market and the Berkshire property market also gives us an overview of current conditions in all areas and all market sectors. As a result, we know what represents good value.

Do you search for rental properties too?

Yes. We work on behalf of the tenant aiming to find rental property that best fits their criteria. The supply of exclusive properties at the upper end of the market is quite limited as most buy-to-let landlords invest in cheaper properties at the lower end of the market. Consequently, busy and discerning clients can often have great difficulty in finding the right rental property and therefore turn to Chiltern Relocation for help.

What kind of properties do you search for?

We usually search for properties over £500,000, be they country houses, farmhouses, family homes or investment properties. Whatever type of property we are looking for, our main criteria is that they are the most desirable homes within our clients' price range.

Do you just cover Buckinghamshire?

Being based in Beaconsfield, we concentrate mainly on finding property in Buckinghamshire although, depending on our clients' requirements, we occasionally widen our search to cover Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Our base in Beaconsfield means that we are ideally located to find property close to Heathrow, Reading and London whether in Buckinghamshire or not.

Do you look after international clients?
