Sparkling Events in Bucks this Bonfire Night

Remember Remember….
…the 5th November! This year Guy Fawkes Night falls on a Monday so most displays will be on Saturday Nov 3rd, why not welcome in the winter season and enjoy a local organised display. Here are our top picks for Bonfire night:

Beaconsfield Fireworks (Round Table)
This year is the 50th Beaconsfield Round Table Fireworks. It will be held at the Beaconsfield Rugby Club promises to be a bigger, better and safer site and the organisers promise ‘Our biggest display yet’! It will be a much larger event with a whole range of catering options: hog roast, BBQ, Chinese and Indian food – accompanied by hot chocolate or the obligatory mulled wine plus a pop up Prosecco Bar. Keen to keep everyone entertained pre and post the main event there will be an outdoor cinema screen and kiddies snack tall.
Entry is £8 in advance on line or pay £10 on the gate (children under 5 are free). Gates open at 5pm with the action whizzing off at 7.15pm. Details here:

Beaconsfield Little Bang
Fireworks, shorter, quieter display and bonfire for younger children. Where, Beaconsfield Cricket Club.When, Saturday, 3rd November 2018 time 5pm. Details here:

Chalfont St Giles

This year’s show is called Magic In The Sky Saturday 10th November and the stunning display will be held at Stone Meadow. Bucks. Bangers, mulled wine and music will provide the backdrop to the main event. Gates open at 5.45pm and the action whizzes off at 7pm. Advance tickets are £8 from a number of the High Street shops. Tickets on the gate cost £10 (under 3’s are free). Details here:

Gerrards Cross

The Memorial Centre will once again be the location for the town’s fabulous display. Enjoy an evening of fireworks, music and refreshments, accompanied with BBQ from Savannas Butchers. Tickets are £7.00 available from GXCA office. Gates open at 5.30pm with blast off at 6.30pm. Details here:

Marlow Monster Fireworks Show takes place Saturday 3rd November at Marlow Sports Club. Gates open at 5.30pm and there will be burgers, hotdogs and more. Local beers (Marlow and Chiltern Ales) and music by Dave the Disco. Fireworks start 7.15pm Details here: 

Marlow Bottom
Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza 2018 is being held at Burford School, Marlow Bottom. The display is always popular and is often sold out. When: Saturday 3rd November, Time: gates open 5.30 fireworks start between 7pm and 8pm. Cost: £8.00 per adult. Details here:

Long Crendon School

Bigger and better fireworks this year is on offer from Long Crendon School as they have a display from Star Fireworks team (the same team behind TV’s ‘Big Brother Live Final’ fireworks, no less). Sponsored by Spitfire Homes this promises to be a spectacular event! Saturday 3rd November 2018. Gates open 4.45pm, costs £6 per adult or £7.50 on the gate. Details here:


For a free event pop along to Elangeni School field. Chestnut Lane, Chesham Bois and Elangani schools have collaborated and have a Firework display on Saturday 3rd November 2018, gates open at 5pm display at 6pm (tbc). There will be Bar, hot dogs, mulled wine and much more on offer. Details here:

Great Missenden

Great Missenden School Firework Extravaganza 2018. An awesome display set to music by Star Professionals. There will be hog roast, bar and fairground rides. When, 27th October 2018, Where Great Missenden School. Time, 5pm entry, 8pm fireworks. Details here:
