Why Chiltern Relocation loves Wokingham: This attractive town full of character has a wealth of facilities on offer, a real community feel and enjoys great transport links.

Wokingham is located 33 miles west of London between the M3 and the M4. It is popular with employees working for the many major international companies on the M4 ‘silicon corridor’ and it is only 24 minutes commuting time into London Paddington.

Wokingham is a historic market town and the general market runs every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in addition to a farmers market once a month. There is leisure centre and a theatre and many sports such as hockey, tennis and golf are well catered for. Wokingham has a wide range of shopping available along its attractive High Street from the big named retailers to independent boutiques.

The village of Finchampstead, 4 miles south of Wokingham, is very popular with families who enjoy the excellent housing and schooling options available. Wokingham is also only 10 minutes by train to Reading where shoppers can visit The Oracle centre.

The annual Wokingham Festival is held in August, which gives the town a great community feel as residents enjoy the hugely popular food, music and arts event.
