Chiltern Relocation was delighted to attend the National Business Women’s Awards at the London Hilton at Wembley this week.
Chiltern Relocation was shortlisted for two awards: the Service Excellence award and the Business Woman of the Year award.
The Service Excellence award recognises outstanding assistance and advice to those who buy or use the business or organisation’s products or services. Customer testimonials were provided as part of the submission.
Chiltern Relocation was shortlisted after the judging panel learnt of one particular relocation with outstanding customer care and attention to detail.
Chiltern Relocation were asked to find a bungalow with a sizable garden for an ex-serviceman struggling with PTSD. His wife was coping with MS and also had additional needs. Whilst one wished for a remote location, the other needed access to the shops via a mobility scooter. The search included measuring pavement width and calculating how many kilometres the mobility scooter battery could last. These were just a couple of the many requirements for this couple. The Business Woman of the Year award was hotly contested with 18 incredible women worthy of the honour. In order to be shortlisted for this category, business leaders needed to demonstrate accomplishments of significance over their career. Successful entrants all possessed qualities of vision, innovation, entrepreneurial drive and leadership.
The judging panel recognised how Chiltern Relocation goes above and beyond to assist our clients with their move. The panel learnt of one relocation involving a family moving from South Africa to London who would be arriving to an unfurnished house. Securing the rental had been challenging with difficult landlords but we had been able to secure an excellent family house in a tight timeframe. Sharon went on to arrange a furniture rental package ensuring all items would fit by taking precise measurements. Sharon then went one step further and headed to John Lewis and filled two trolleys with bedding, pillows, duvets, toaster, kettle and even a mop and bucket to make sure that the family could land from Johannesburg that night and go straight to bed.
The judging panel also took into consideration the many fabulous 5* Google reviews from happy clients – many who detailed how Chiltern Relocation went the extra mile to ensure a successful relocation.
Chiltern Relocation had an amazing evening and was thrilled to be in the company of so many inspiring business women. Being nominated for awards are a fabulous recognition for our hard work over the last 19 years. However, the real award for Chiltern Relocation is finding the perfect property for our clients and knowing that we have made a difference to their lives.
