When we speak to clients looking to move to the area, they are keen to know the best town and villages, the best schools, catchment areas, commuting options and best roads. On a Viewing Day we love to stop and recap the properties we have seen in one of our favourite coffee shops. The wealth of independent shops and eateries are what make the High Streets the places we want to visit so here is Chiltern Relocation’s top picks for coffee shops near us.

BEACONSFIELD:

Benedict’s in Beaconsfield new town is the undisputed coffee winner in the town. An independent, family run cafe selling excellent coffee and superb food Coffee aficionados seek out the finest coffee beans here.

Melody and Mint in Beaconsfield Old Town is set over two floors in a historic building oozing with character. This recent addition to the High Street serves great coffee and excellent food.

Thirst 4 Coffee in Holtspur is a very popular choice with coffee lovers. This friendly coffee shop is also well known of its artisan cakes.

AMERSHAM

The Grocer in the Amersham Old Town is always packed. Fabulous coffee but also amazing food! The café is housed in a charming timbered building and the seating outside is always busy too no matter the weather!

Bar Izzo has recently opened on the High Street in the Old Town and the vibe is relaxed and sumptuous. The small dining area is very welcoming with a range of coffees and sandwiches on offer. The homemade bread is simply delicious.

Sycamore in Amersham New Town is a popular choice for coffee fans who want to watch the world go by from the huge windows. A delicious menu offers a number of brunch options too.

TRING

Black Goo Coffee on Tring High Street is a bit of an institution. The cakes are the show stopper here but the coffee is also excellent. With seating inside and on the High Street this café is popular all year round.

GERRARDS CROSS

Jack & Alice is in the heart of town and very popular all day long. The family run business is very proud of its coffee and cake offering. Why not enjoy their Afternoon Tea speciality whilst here!

Huddle boast the best coffee in town at this independent popular spot on the High Street. A wide range of food also available.

HIGH WYCOMBE

The Front Room is an award-winning multi-concept coffee shop in High Wycombe focussing on speciality coffee, delicious food and flexible spaces for events, workshops and private events. From pottery painting to movie nights The Front Room has something for everyone.

GREAT MISSENDEN

Peterley Manor Farm is an institution. Situated on a 40-acre farm and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life the Barn Kitchen is hugely popular. With a farm shop, pick your own in season and the stunning café with incredible fresh produce it is a fabulous destination.
