Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools ranked highly in Sunday Times Parent Power Guide
The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide is a highly respected authority on school rankings across the UK. Their definitive guide to primary and secondary schooling is keenly regarded by parents keen to secure a place at one of the desirable institutions.
The latest Parent Power Guide was published on 3 December 2023 and revealed that five grammar schools in Buckinghamshire have been ranked among the top in the region for their ‘academic excellence’ and ‘exceptional’ range of extracurriculars.
Dr Challoner’s Grammar School in Amersham came SIXTH, with a national ranking of 35 Beaconsfield High School came SEVENTH, with a national ranking of 37 Dr Challoner’s High School in Little Chalfont came EIGHTH with a national ranking of 38 Chesham Grammar School was NINTH, with a national ranking of 41 Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow came TENTH, with a national ranking of 44 |
The grammar schools in Buckinghamshire are highly sought after as they promise a high-quality education with all the extracurricular activities on offer. Due to strict catchment areas, many students are also within walking distance or a short bus ride away making the schools – and local areas – a very attractive option.
