We first met Sharon from Chiltern Relocation when my potential employer in London commissioned them to show my wife and I around the Chilterns, in order to help us make a decision about whether to accept the job and move to the UK or not. Coming from Canada, we were concerned about the sizes and prices of housing options for a family of four in and around London.
Sharon showed us a range of houses and gave us a tour of the area, addressing some of those concerns and making us comfortable enough to accept the job and make the move overseas. We were so impressed with Sharon’s knowledge of the area and professional manner that we asked her to work with us again when it was time to find our new home. She helped us organize a housing visit about 6 weeks before the move, including visits to a range of homes based on her understanding of our needs.
Once we made a choice, she negotiated with the letting agency, provided information about local schools for my son, and reviewed our lease agreement to ensure the terms were reasonable before we signed. She also made sure to be there for the initial inspection when we took possession of the house, which provided some comfort at what can be an anxious time.
I can only imagine how much more difficult and stressful the whole process would have been without the knowledge and experience that Sharon provided. I would (and will) absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to make their home in the area!
