Chiltern Relocation Recognised for Customer Service at EVAs Awards
We were thrilled to learn in July that Chiltern Relocation had been shortlisted as a finalist in the Customer Services category for the 2026 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS). The EVAS, now in their 15th year, is one of the UK’s leading celebrations of women in business.
Chiltern Relocation was shortlisted for the Customer Service award following a rigorous application and interview process and we were delighted to share this honour with eight other companies. The awards took place in the Winter Gardens ballroom in Blackpool on Friday and CEO Sharon Hewitt headed up to Blackpool for the gala dinner and ceremony.
The Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS) is a prestigious event that celebrates women in business across the UK. It is the largest platform for recognising and championing female entrepreneurship, leadership, and impact. The ceremony brings together guests from across the UK for a fabulous evening of celebration, connection, and inspiration. The event is designed to create opportunities and celebrate the achievements of women who are driving growth and innovation across various sectors.
Spoiler alert – Chiltern Relocation didn’t win but being in the room with so many successful women in business was incredibly rewarding. As Sharon commented: ‘To be recognised by the Enterprise Vision Awards, alongside so many inspiring women in business across the UK, is a real honour and something I’m incredibly proud of. I started the business over 20 years ago from my kitchen table, with a simple belief that people relocating to a new area deserved someone firmly on their side, offering honest, independent advice and genuinely personal support. To be named a finalist is a significant achievement and a wonderful recognition of the work we do at Chiltern Relocation. Our nomination reflects our commitment to providing a genuinely personal and bespoke relocation service, supporting individuals, families and corporate clients through what can be one of the biggest and most emotional moves of their lives. Being recognised alongside so many inspiring women in business is a real honour and reinforces our belief that building strong relationships, understanding our clients and going the extra mile are at the heart of a successful business.’
The keynote speaker was fashion icon Karen Millen OBE who shared her journey from building a global fashion brand from a £100 loan, dealing with setbacks, losing control, and starting over. Hearing Karen’s story and advice was very inspiring from someone who has built, scaled and reinvented one of the UK’s most iconic brands.
Being shortlisted for the Customer Services award, attending the gala ceremony in such an iconic location and meeting so many incredible women is certainly one of the highlights of Chiltern Relocation’s year and we look forward to furthering the connections made thanks to the EVAS.
